Tax Help Available For Free.

The Woodward Public Library and the IRS are working together again this year to bring you access to FREE federal and state online tax filing.  Go to to see if you can take advantage of this FREE online service recommended by the IRS. E-filing is permitted on the library’s computers.  Please inform a staff member before starting; we will extend your time on the computer.  A completed form can be printed at 25¢ per page or stored on a personal device.

By Federal law, the library staff cannot help you file your tax forms.


Coloring For Adults

Not just for kids anymore! We meet the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 2:00 p.m.
All materials will be provided. We are requiring that all participants register in advance.

Charging Stations Added at the Library

Check out the new charging stations at the library. There are three stations available to choose from, two in the reading area and one near the teen and young adult sections.  They have just recently been installed and ready to charge your laptop, phone, eReader, or tablet.

Essay Contest: Who Is Your Hero?

Tell us about someone you know who, through some act of kindness, courage or unselfishness, has made a positive impact on your life.

  • 1st place: $200
  • 2nd place: $100
  • 3rd place: $50
  • Honorable mention: $25

We’ll choose 3 winners from each group: Adults (18+) and Teen (13-18 years)
