The Woodward Public Library strives to build an educated, vibrant community by providing equal access to information, materials, and innovative services and programs.
We’re one of about 1,280 Carnegie Libraries across the United States that will receive a $10,000 gift from Carnegie Corporation of New York in celebration of America’s 250th anniversary.
While we are no longer housed in our original Carnegie building, we are incredibly proud of its history and the role it played in founding library services for our community. More than a century after philanthropist Andrew Carnegie helped fund the construction of 1,681 libraries nationwide, we continue to serve our community with the same spirit of access and learning.

We have exciting news to share! The Woodward Public Library is proud to be chosen to be part of Libraries Transforming Communities: Accessible Small and Rural Communities, an American Library Association initiative that provides community engagement and accessibility resources to small and rural libraries to help them better serve people with disabilities.
