Renewals
Most items will automatically renew once unless the item has been placed on hold. You can also manually renew items through your online library account or with the myLIBRO app. Interlibrary loan renewals require permission from the lending library and require advanced notice to request a renewal. Mobile hotspots cannot be renewed.
Placing Holds (Reserving Items)
Place holds in person, by phone, through the myLIBRO app, or through the online library catalog. You'll be notified by phone, text, or email when your hold is ready. Two holds can be placed at a time. Reserved items will be held for 3 days at the front desk.
Mobile hotspots cannot be reserved. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Lost or Damaged Items
Items are marked as lost 30 days after the due date. You will be charged the item's replacement cost plus a $5.00 non-refundable processing fee. Overdue fines are waived for lost or damaged items. The library generally does not accept replacement copies. However, new items meeting specific criteria (same format, ISBN, and staff approval) may be considered. The $5.00 processing fee will still apply.
Returning Items
Items can be returned in person to the front desk to staff, in the inside book drop, or the outside book drop.
Book Drop: Located on the west side of the building. It is open 24/7.
Important: Do not return mobile hotspots in the book drop. A $5.00 fee will be charged for hotspots returned in the book drop. Please return them to the front desk.
