Woodward Reads 2024 Monthly Themes
- January: Classic Reimagined – A book that is a modern retelling of a classic.
- February: Debut Novel – A book written by a first-time author.
- March: First – The first book in a series.
- April: Oklahoma – A book set in Oklahoma or by an Oklahoma author.
- May: Armchair Travel – A book set on a plane, train, or cruise ship.
- June: Adventure – A book about a real-life adventure.
- July: Collaboration – A book written by two or more authors.
- August: Award-Winner – An award-winning book.
- September: Book About Books – A book about an author, bookstore, or library.
- October: Page to Screen – Read a book adapted into film/TV (or will be soon).
- November: Recommendation – A book recommended to you by a friend, family, podcast, #BookTok, etc.
- December: Keep it Short – A book under 250 pages.
Challenge Rules
Woodward Reads 2024 is a year-long challenge from January 1 to December 31. Submit one reading log for each theme to receive one monthly drawing entry. The challenge can be joined at any time and reading logs may be submitted for previous months. A reading log must be submitted for all 12 months/themes to be eligible for the end-of-the-year prize drawing. Must be +18 to participate and live in the Woodward Public Library’s service area.
